I am a member of ACES: The Society for Editing, the Online News Association, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Editorial Freelancers Association, Journalism and Women Symposium and Professional Editors Network. I hold a journalism degree from the University of Maryland and publications/design certifications
from George Washington University.
